Class 240 High-Temperature Enameled Copper-Clad Aluminum Round Wire – Aromatic Polyimide Insulation, Cost-Effective Alternative for Extreme Environments
CCAQY-240 is a premium aromatic polyimide enameled copper-clad aluminum (CCA) round wire offering the highest thermal class available in the industry – 240°C. This wire is engineered for mission-critical applications where cost optimization and weight reduction are important design considerations.
Copper-clad aluminum conductors combine the electrical conductivity of copper with the weight savings of aluminum, providing an excellent balance between performance and cost. The aromatic polyimide insulation provides exceptional resistance to thermal degradation, oxidation, radiation, and aggressive chemicals.
With a cut-through temperature of 450°C and heat shock resistance up to 260°C, CCAQY-240 delivers the same high-temperature performance as its copper counterpart while offering significant cost and weight advantages for large-volume applications.
